In the latest of our Marathon Season posts, Zoe Morrall shares her #ReasonsToRun the London Marathon 2019.

How many marathons have you run?
One trail, London will be my first official road marathon, ARHHH!
What charity are you running for and why?
My #reasonstorun2019 are selfish for me this year. It's to prove I can do it. I turn 30 this year and this year also marks 10 years since I decided to turn my life around, loose weight and get fit. After London I've challenged myself to run a 50 km, a 50 miler and 100 km on trail. When I was bigger (size 24, now size 10-12) I watched London in awe of everyone achieving something as brilliant as a marathon and I have pretty much thought about crossing that finish line every year since 2009 and this year I am lucky enough to do it.
How do you plan to recover after the marathon?
Compression leggings, my Oofos (brought them last year and they are a dream) a big old G&T and probably a very large pizza whilst sat on the sofa with my cat. I CAN'T WAIT!
